Day 3 Mind your emotions

Day 3 🥁
We started the day with our body-based exercise routine using a tennis ball and a tube: how is my body feeling? Do I carry more weight on the right side or the left? Which arm feels heavier?
We then dove into a meditation to explore our “mixed” emotions: when have I felt guilt, happiness, embarrassment? What is the very first memory I have of this emotion? And now—how often do I experience it? Never, sometimes, often? With these emotions and images still within us, we took some modeling clay and shaped it into what we were as children, into our emotions. Afterwards, we shared in small groups and observed what others had created. Finally, we tried to bring this “smaller” version of ourselves into a “bigger” one—not necessarily in the present, but to understand how emotions have found their place inside us.
After the break, we turned to theatre, discovering the basic rules of the Neutral Mask and, divided into groups, we challenged ourselves with performances, starting from a prompt we were given. We then moved from stage to stage, watching each other’s shows and putting into practice what we had learned so far.
But the day wasn’t over yet! The evening was dedicated to the first of two intercultural nights: Ukraine, Ireland, Georgia, and Italy presented their countries, traditions, and dances—it was a beautiful way to continue becoming more and more united as a group!
